Pioneer is part of some major projects in and around Montana

Proud to be part of Butte’s growth.

Around the State

  • Carroll College – An existing gymnasium in Helena, Montana, was retrofitted into a new Carroll College Chapel. For the effort, Pioneer completed a geotechnical investigation to explore subsurface conditions at the proposed construction area and provide information on soil and bedrock characteristics, groundwater conditions, soil bearing capacity, lateral loadings, and potential soil consolidation/swell properties. We also provided foundation design recommendations.
  • Phase I Aquifer evaluation for MDT – Pioneer is completing a Phase I aquifer evaluation of the Huson-East area along the frontage road between Frenchtown and Missoula, Montana. This will assist the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) meet their goal of improving existing roadway while ensuring the integrity of the nearby domestic wells.
