Pioneer was awarded a task order under our Environmental Services Blanket Purchase Agreement from the U. S. Department of Interior/Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to conduct a Preliminary Assessment/Site Inspection (PA/SI) to determine the presence and concentrations of contaminants at the Sunrise Mine, the Columbia Heap Leach, and the Arizona Zinc Platers sites in Arizona. The sites include heap leach pads, ore stockpiles, solution ponds, tailings pile, and other features associated with inactive mining and ore processing operations.
The BLM also awarded Pioneer a task order to complete a PA/SI at the Table Mesa Recreation Management Zone north of Phoenix. The objective of the PA/SI is to characterize 32 recreational shooting sites on the TMRMZ for determine if they pose any threat to human tramadol health or the environment.
